Loved the location as it was so close to the beach and waves as well as to the city and shopping. Also enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of the hotel especially that the stories & history of the hotel were so tastefully displayed & acknowledged. Loved that we could have breakfast, lunch & dinner close to the pool and beach daily and was impressed by the food and drinks provided as well as the entertainment. The rooms were very comfortable and always clean.

My husband and I live on Oahu and had friends visiting from the mainland. We stayed for a night and it was beautiful. We got a clean and fairly large room with a partial ocean view. We liked the pool area and all the options for food however we did not eat at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel if you are willing to splurge on the the price.

Bridget

location and facilites excellent. it really is a beautiful hotel, loved the rocking chairs. our rooms in the diamond head wing had spectacular views. we loved retiring to our room late afternoon for a drink on the rocking chairs in our room looking at the beach. the vintage music and soloist piana player in the evenings was fantastic.

Simon

We stayed in room 312 in the original building. This room has a balcony and the view to the beach and a little bit of Diamond Head. We could also watch weddings in the garden area below. The double doors opened to let in the sound of the surf all night. Delightful. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Kyle

we stayed on the “classic” part of the hotel. amazing location right on waikiki beach. the highlight was the Royal Hawaiian Symphony concert at the Beach Restaurant.
